The Society for National Charity is a non-political and non-profit social organization unwavering in its dedication to improving the lives of the disadvantaged in the South City of Dhaka. We aim to address pressing social prospective challenges and work for society to provide relief, support, and opportunities to those in need. We work only for the South City of Dhaka. After that, we will spread our love all over Bangladesh. We need welfare organizations and, more importantly, the participation of every affluent and compassionate individual. The Society for National Charity has been established to fulfill these three-pronged responsibilities. We focus on key areas such as poverty alleviation, education, healthcare, and disaster relief.

What We Do?
The Society for National Charity has worked tirelessly alongside the helpless, underprivileged, and vulnerable people in the southern part of Dhaka metropolis. Our activities include:
- We are providing scholarships, running schools, and supporting religious education.
- We help children who live in slums or on the streets.
- We offer free medical care and other support to the needy.
- We provide emergency relief and rehabilitation during natural disasters, floods, and waterlogging. Supporting people affected by winter.
- We ensure environmental protection and public health; sanitary toilets should be constructed, trees planted, cleanliness campaigns conducted, and awareness raised against pollution.
- We also provide vocational training for self-employment.
- We are distributing rickshaws, vans, and sewing machines and providing financial support for small businesses.
- We collect Zakat (alms) and utilize the funds in various development activities outlined in the Holy Quran.
- We are providing employment opportunities for those who have lost their jobs and providing cash grants and loans to affected small businesses during post-disaster rehabilitation. We also provide short-term technical training to men and women and healthcare and humanitarian assistance.
