Our organization helps in dowryless weddings. Dowry is when the bride’s family gives money or gifts to the groom. In Islam, taking dowry is haram (forbidden).

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “The best marriage is one with the least expenses.”

Dowry puts a heavy burden on poor families. Many girls cannot get married because their families cannot afford dowry. So we promote simple and dowryless weddings. Marriage should not be about money. We have helped 34 couples have dowryless weddings. We spent 340,000 BDT to support these marriages. We used this money to organize simple weddings. Also, we provide basic needs and give small gifts to them.

We are working hard to remove dowry from society. With our help, couples can marry without worrying about dowry demands. We encourage everyone to follow the Islamic way of marriage. We will continue to support dowryless weddings, and to make this happen, we need your support.
